Websolenoids are shift solenoids, torque converter solenoid, and coast clutch solenoid. The large one is the line pressure solenoid. All the small ones should show 30-40 Ohms at the circuit board. All mine tested at exactly 29.7 ohms. The Big one should test 4 ohms. What I found when my diode went bad was one of the solenoids showed 0 Ohms. WebApr 1, 2013 · The shift solenoids should make this pretty easy. They are all pretty much just normal solenoids except for the EPC one. That one seems to be a variable input. Change the current across it and it changes the amount of line pressure. I see some guys have done a "resistor mod" to get higher line pressures and therefore firmer shifts.

WebSep 7, 2009 · The E4OD and 4r100 have different soleniods and they arent interchangable. the 99-03 4r100 uses PWM like you said and the E4OD is just an on/off switch. The 4r100 has a large bore (E4OD is a small bore hole) that is controlled with the PWM and the E4OD wont be able to control that, so it will throw it into gear and cause damage.
