WebOct 22, 2016 · Cody, Brantly made aftermarket power steering for Deere garden tractors. One design is for 314/317 model tractors and other is for 300/316K models. I have never seen setup for 300/316. The kits are bolt in and takes a couple of hours to install. 314/317 kits are available; I have them on my 314 and 317. This will probably work to replace the 44 control valve but will need hose replumbing and linkage modifications. Have you cleaned the original valve parts and retested.
