I returned it to primary arms and they gave me credit for it and I turned around and bought a Bravo Company bcg. 100% better staking job. Definitely would buy again.

I believe that had that gas key not been staked, it would have loosened at some point and caused an issue. I have no way of knowing if the gas key bolts were torqued to the required 52 inch pounds.
